CODE FOR CONSTRUCTION PRODUCT INFORMATION ISSUE IN RELATION TO A PRODUCT CARRYING A CCPI ASSESSED MARK

Please use the link below to provide contact details to CPI Ltd about the concerns you have of a construction product being sold on the UK market which has been CCPI assessed for its product information. Please ensure that you provide as much information and URL links as possible to fully explain and identify your area of concern. If you would like to submit any documents (rather than URL’s) to substantiate your concern, please raise your issue via the link below and email your documents to issues@cpicode.org.uk stating, if known, the unique reference number that your concern will have/has been allocated.

Concerns can include (but are not limited to) concerns about:

  • The use of ambiguous language in the product information, particularly regarding performance claims.
  • The use of misleading claims in the product information.
  • Performance claims that are inaccurate against any testing/classification provided.
  • The misuse of a CCPI Assessment Mark and number, i.e. the mark is being used on product information for which it does not apply.
  • Products that falsely state they fall within or outside certification, classification or industry approved standards.
