After completing post graduate studies in civil engineering and building science Steve has spent over 25 years mainly in financial services in roles across investments, employee benefits and insurance, during which time he also completed a CFA and Harvard Business School’s AMP programme. Steve has served on boards in the UK, South Africa and in Jersey. He specialises in governance, risk and finance, and has chaired various public and private boards in both regulated and unregulated businesses. For the past 5 years Steve has spent part of his time investing in and nurturing several fintech startups, and has a passion for seeing things develop and grow from simple ideas, to functioning businesses and entities that have enduring impact on people’s lives. Steve has always felt an affinity for returning to his roots in building and construction, and the opportunity to apply his career experience for the CPI is an exciting venture for him.
